Drifting…drifting….
Heart aches for the drifting…
Drowning…. drowning….
The voice spoken to the drifting in truth is drowning…
No word, no confrontation, no truth can be heard..
The voice of the drifting become louder and louder.. as the hearts of the drifting grow harder and harder…
Drowning the voice that speaks the truth needed to save the drifting
But when the voice that speaks the truth tuned into silence by the drifting…
The drifting continues to drift… further and further away from truth, from light, from blessedness, from fruitfulness…
When the voice that speaks the truth being drowned into silence by the drifting harden hearts, the heart aches the saddest aches… invisible!
Very good, Joanna! I believe I do know what you wrote about here. And I too think you described the experience of every prophet who was forced to wander through the wilderness of God, a dry and stony place which we do not like – at all! But that experience is necessary that we learn to rely on Him – completely – before He sends us out to do what He wants to be done. It is good to know that behind all wilderness experiences, there is first the Jordan to go through (not that dry anymore 😉 ), and then, eventually, the Promised Land where fruitfulness is not only a word and where spiritual blessings continually flow from above.
Keep on writing what He puts on your heart!
Much love,
Susanne

Thank you, Susanne, for cheering me on! Let us be a cloud of witnesses for one another and let us run into victory with perseverance the race that is marked out for us!! May the Lord give you words from His heart to speak to this generation as well! Love, Joanna
